Clear-Com Demos its LQ Series

elivering IP-interconnection capabilities to
intercom users of all types and brands,
the LQ Series connects, extends and expands
industry-standard 2-wire and 4-wire intercom
systems over IP networks.
Additionally, LQ can also support
interconnection to VoIP telephones as well
as the acclaimed Clear-Com Agent-IC mobile
app users to connect with any traditional
intercom systems.
At booth 4Q4-01, Clear-Com is showcasing
the IP communication capabilities of the
LQ Series with a special focus on how
the solution can host Agent-IC, enabling
professional intercom connections via IP
over Wi-Fi and/or 3G/4G/LTE to user-provided
mobile devices. LQ Series leverages the
Internet's global reach to connect intercom
and audio to remote users who are running
Clear-Com's Agent-IC mobile client app on
their iOS or Android smart telephones or
tablets, with integration for associated smart
watches if desired. Any core production user
on the main intercom system can instantly
connect with contributors on Clear-Com's
Agent-IC mobile app for monitoring the
intercom, whether within the site of the
intercom operations or at any other location.
The Agent-IC app is available for free
download at the iTunes Store and Google
Play and licensed directly to LQ interfaces.

Each LQ Series IP interface can support
up to eight individual Agent-IC clients while
still serving as one end of a point-to-point
intercom IP link. Up to 48 channels of LQ
Series IP interfaces can be connected to
any manufacturer's intercom system, which
provides the possibility of highly extensible
and customised systems utilising these
capabilities.
The same LQ Series IP interfaces can
also support connections to VoIP telephony
via SIP (Session Initiation Protocol). This
allows intercom users to cost-effectively
call IP phone users with a single push of an
intercom button, and vice versa. More and
more phone systems globally are turning
to SIP-based connections for external
interfacing and requirements for intercoms of
all sorts to link to these can be addressed by

SIP-enabled LQ Series devices.
