Home sweet Home

he first few months of 2011 have been tricky for many people in property terms, but with all the tightening of belts there have also been some signs of hope – new opportunities and indications of potential economic recovery from the very tricky place where we were. With my site – www.tepilo.com – we can see how the property market is changing from the front line – our users, who have put their homes up for sale on the site, are a direct link to how homeowners are feeling. They like the fact they are taking control and they like the fact they are not spending any money. This year, we’re launching a Tepilo directory, which will enable all users to find the services people have to offer. Bringing customers and services together in this way will save everyone time and hassle. It will be an interesting year, but I believe 2011 will see some more new shoots of growth that bring opportunity and send a ripple of recovery across the country. I hope within this issue of at home magazine you’ll find ideas and useful advice on all aspects of property and home ownership – from buying, selling and renting, to renovation and decorating tips.
