This issue: NOA AwArds wiNNers; eOA summit & AwArds; the Public sectOr Martyn Hart, Chairman, National Outsourcing Association, looks back at the NOA Awards 2012 in Association with Wipro Technologies t the end of October, the great and the good of the outsourcing industry donned their dickie bows and party frocks and got down to one of the most important nights in the outsourcing calendar – The National Outsourcing Association Awards, in association with Wipro Technologies, held at the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel in London. Now in its 9th year, the NOAAs are truly the home of best practice, with the pre-eminent projects and people being rewarded for all their hard – and extremely smart – work. Particularly in the case of Firstsource, who went home with the metaphoric matchball after scooping three gongs! It was a night for doubles too, with the BBC and HMRC both bagging two wins. Hearty congratulations to them, and also to the other companies, who had to make do with just the one trophy. And to those who missed out, there’s always next year! It’s great to see companies and individuals getting recognition for outsourcing excellence – championing success is something that doesn’t happen enough in the outsourcing industry. Having so many high-quality award entries, and nearly 500 people in attendance, made for a fitting tribute to our 25th anniversary.
