Fine – but what does it all mean? OK, so you’ve read our contributors’ predictions – but what are their implications for outsourcing? To add practical application to theory, Outsource convened a gathering of three outsourcing professionals representing the buyer, vendor and advisory communities to get their take on what our predictions signify for the space. Our participants (chaired by BPOpronet’s Howard Spode) looked at the implications for their own areas of business, and for the other stakeholder groups – throwing further light on some of the issues brought up in the 2012 Preview article as well as injecting some of their own prognostications into the mix. Gentlemen: take it away… Howard Spode Howard is Managing Partner of BPOpronet (www.bpopronet.com), an organisation that helps BPO suppliers win, implement and deliver their contracts. Currently focussed on legal outsourcing, he is about to roll out the same model in a number of niche areas of outsourcing, leveraging his experience advising on over $5bn of outsourcing deals.
