Along with Outsource's new look, we’ve got a new advisory board – featuring some of the most prominent and respected professionals in the outsourcing space – to help ensure the magazine’s ongoing quality and relevance. Without further ado, it’s our honour and privilege to introduce the Outsource Magazine Editorial Board 2010/11: take it away, ladies and gents… DR CHARLES AIRD
with Gartner, the world’s leading information technology research and advisory company. He has held senior posts in the criminal justice and security services sector and had stints in finance, retail, telecoms and transportation. He has held positions with Atkins, Steria, PWC, BT, BR and the UK’s Home Office, where he delivered Europe’s first outsourced Criminal Justice ICT system back in the early 1990s.
Dr Aird is Senior Managing Director for PricewaterhouseCoopers, and a globally recognised authority on outsourcing and shared services. He has extensive background establishing start-ups and selling consulting, outsourcing and information technology in domestic and international environments. This includes significant experience building consulting and outsourcing practices, including delivering services: Dr Aird was responsible for starting PwC's shared services advisory practice as well as Deloitte Consulting’s Global BPO practice, and the Indian consulting practice and remote applications delivery of Ernst & Young Consulting. He has lived and worked in India, Saudi Arabia and Singapore and worked extensively across Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.
Martyn Hart is the Chairman of the UK’s National Outsourcing Association (NOA), which he instigated back in 1987. He has been involved in information and communications technology for over 30 years and is currently

Cliff is the US leader for Shared Services and Outsourcing Advisory at KPMG LLP leading a , consolidated national advisory business specialising in enabling and optimising the Extended Global Enterprise across all service functions for large businesses through shared services and outsourcing strategies. An industry leader in shared services and outsourcing with more than 20 years of sourcing advisory experience, his primary focus is on the planning and execution of shared services and outsourcing strategies for IT, human resources, finance and SG&A functions. Prior to joining KPMG, Cliff was a managing director with EquaTerra, leading their services globalisation advisory practice. Previously, he was a founding member and managing director of neoIT, where he led its US consulting practice and global consulting alliance with TPI.
CLIFF JUSTICE
One of the most versatile and wellregarded figures in the global sourcing space, Deborah Kops has a 360-degree view of the industry. Formerly a founding partner of PwC’s BPO unit and the CMO of a leading offshore BPO; MD of FleetBoston’s (now Bank of America) Services Group, MD Global Sourcing Transformation for Deutsche Bank; and consulting partner in two major firms, she has hands-on experience as buyer, vendor and advisor. She now focuses on the challenges of outsourcing change through sourcingchange.com. Deborah is an author and regular columnist and contributor to publications worldwide (including Outsource online).
