Amboseli National Park, Kenya concluded in 2022. Combining policy work with innovative behavioural change campaigns, the initiative contributed to stricter law enforcement and reduced demand for elephant ivory across Asia, with the proportion of Chinese consumers still intending to buy ivory falling by almost half. BUILDING STRONG PARTNERSHIPS Protecting wildlife is a joint effort - we know we have a much greater impact when we join forces with partners and allies who share our goals. Among our recent new partnerships, we've teamed up with Panthera for the Living With Big Cats Initiative, joined the International Alliance against Health Risks in Wildlife Trade, and helped launch the Universal Ranger Support Alliance to improve working conditions and standards for rangers. Other important partnerships include the Key Biodiversity Areas Partnership, which aims to systematically map and conserve the most vital places for nature, and Wildlife Insights, a cloud-based platform that uses machine learning to analyse and share wildlife images and data. 29 © @gregdutoithttps://panthera.org/living-big-cats https://alliance-health-wildlife.org/ https://alliance-health-wildlife.org/ https://www.ursa4rangers.org/ https://www.ursa4rangers.org/ https://www.keybiodiversityareas.org/working-with-kbas/programme/partnership https://www.wildlifeinsights.org/
