ELECTRIC IRELAND attended the Dublin Web Summit in October and brought back the Tweet Café where users Tweeted for their treats!

We served more than 1000 coffees at the Tweet Café ad we hosted the top speakers in our meet the speakers area which gave delegates an opportunity to ask the speakers questions.

The Tweet café at the Dublin Web Summit was a great success and was a huge talking point across Twitter.

We also sponsored the Spark of Genius award for the best tech start-up across the world, which saw SmartThings, who developed an app that lets you connect your electrical goods at home with your smart phone, take the €100,000 prize.
