ESB NETWORKS issued their first Live Wire newsletter communication in August. This newsletter is produced for external stakeholder and customer audiences and will be circulated via email. The objective of the newsletter is to connect with our stakeholders and give an insight and update as to the exciting range of work ESB Networks has delivered, and projects we are involved in, in recent months.

In the first issue we highlighted the following projects/achievements:

• Recent initiatives in ESB Net works’ Smart Networks Programme

• New residential and commercial developments that have been connected to the electricity network in the first half of 2013 and developments that are in the pipeline

• New wind generation connected to the network

• A sample of the large network infrastructural projects that have been completed across the country

• Our recent work with teachers and students in our Schools Safety Programme

• The launch of our @ESBNetworks Twitter service and also the results of our Customer Satisfaction Survey.

If you have email contact information for stakeholders who should be included on the circulation of future editions, or any suggestions as to the content of the newsletter, please let us know at ESBNetworksCommunications@esb.ie
