Hello and Welcome to the latest issue of EM.
One of ESB's most memorable adverts uses the voice of Dusty Springfield and we receive many enquiries from EM readers about the track, Going Home.
The making of an ad is really interesting and I don't know if people realise how much work goes into the making. It really is like a film set with numerous ‘takes', direction, production, actors, story boards etc. You would certainly feel like you were part of a major block-buster!
That is why in this issue, we thought you might like to go behind the scenes of Electric Ireland's new ad and see what it's like for those involved in the production. It will certainly give you a feel for what takes place from the time an ad agency are briefed right through to final takes and production.
This particular ad will be aired around the same time that EM issues so watch out for it across the TV networks. When you look at some of the great ads from now on you will probably view them in a different light!
