OUR CONTRIBUTION TO THE 2030 GLOBAL AGENDA
There are many barriers to preserving
the magnificent nature we love and
we all depend from, and addressing
key challenges for society - poverty,
inequality and hunger to name just
three. WWF has a unique contribution
to make for a better future by
preserving the natural systems that
are the foundation for equality and
prosperity.
Our long-term vision is simple: to
create a world where people and
nature can thrive together. And we are
determined to make our contribution
count, capitalizing on our strengths:
the local and global reach of our
network; the global influence of our
brand; our work on international
systems as well as in the field;
and our large public support across
the whole world.

WWF'S AMBITION TO REVERSE THE LOSS
OF NATURE AND CLIMATE CHANGE
We have developed a new set of seven
integrated outcomes (see right) that, if
they can be achieved by 2030, will set the
world on a course towards reversing the
loss of nature and embracing sustainable
development. They are ambitious and
challenging, but necessary.
Driven by this greater ambition, our
network has united in identifying areas
where we'll collectively achieve greater
impact. We're boosting learning and
innovation. We're developing a focused
set of initiatives (see pages 30-33) where
we see the urgency and opportunity to
lead rapid progress. And in everything
we do, we are looking for powerful
partnerships and coalitions able to design
solutions that deliver on our ambitions.
