Bob Holt speaks to Onside magazine about his values
and business management style - applied successfully
to business and his own charitable foundation.

part in how Bob has honed his view of business and of life.
So when Seneca was formed it was an easy call for Ian to make

Bob Holt has a background in developing support service
businesses. In 1996 Bob bought a controlling interest
of Mears Group and took the company onto AIM at a
market capitalisation of £3.6 million. Since then he's been
instrumental in growing Mears to revenues of £1 billion
and a market capitalisation of £450 million, through steady
growth and smart acquisitions. Mears has given significant
returns to shareholders and was the best performing share
over 5 and 10 years. Mears joined the main list of the
London Stock Exchange in 2008.
