t the 2016 EUROs in France,
Antelope Camera Systems' POV
Ultra Slow Motion Camera "PICO"
supplied stunning in-goal action
during the quarter, semi-finals and the
final of the most prestigious football
tournament of the year.
TV Skyline from Mainz, Germany
installed and operated all the Antelope
PICOs using their specialised ingoal mounts to conform with UEFA
standards.

POV-style Ultra Slow Motion camera
recording up to 350 frames per second
with a simultaneous live feed in true
HD1080. The German-manufactured
camera features intuitive RCP and
OCP controllers which easily integrate
into any professional broadcast
environment.
The implemented COLIBRI DeFlickering
technology
eliminates
all flicker during live and replays to
show all action on the pitch, with no
compromise when it comes to picture
quality.
A special wide-angle lens was
mounted to display the whole goal
area to make sure not to miss any
action of the best European teams
fighting for the trophy.
The PICO is part of the Antelope
Camera family which features
various systems from small robotics
to wireless RF Ultra Slow Motion

Cameras.
A 4K version of the PICO is in
development as well as a new robotic
solution which will give operators the
freedom to "fly in multiple axes".

were also deployed at the Rio Games
which took place in Brazil this summer.

This compact camera utilises two
independent HD-SDI video output
channels to deliver spectacular slowmotion clips, and a continuous live
stream at the same time.
Weighing less than 2.5 kilos, the
camera can be mounted on cranes,
Steadicam, rail systems and remote
heads. In combination with fast moving
rail systems or cranes the Antelope
Compact provides stunning, never seen
before images, and opens up endless
new possibilities.
