Promotions
USA: Riedel Communications has
announced two promotions.
Justin
McClellan
(System
Consultant) has been named as
Business Development Manager for
the southern U.S. Stephen Remich
moves from technical service to a
system consultant position.
"It's always rewarding to be able to
promote up-and-coming talent, and
Justin and Stephen are two of our
brightest stars," said Joyce Bente,
President and CEO of Riedel North
America. "Justin's work in technical
service and then system consulting
has given him people skills he can
now apply to his new sales role...
Stephen has just started his career,
and we are very happy he chose to
start with us."
McClellan will report directly to
Bente, while Remich will report
to Rick Seegull, Manager of
System Consulting at Riedel.

GatesAir Appoints
Regional Sales Manager
USA: GatesAir has strengthened
its North American sales team with
the appointment of Charles Sotto
as Regional Sales Manager for the
Southeast U.S. territory.
Sotto said: "I see tremendous
opportunity to help new and
current
GatesAir
customers
transition to our more electricallyefficient Maxiva TV and Flexiva
radio
transmitters,
reducing
operating costs and labour
associated with maintaining the
infrastructure."
Covering seven states plus Puerto
Rico and the US Virgin Islands,
Sotto brings three decades of
industry and entrepreneurial
experience to his new role,
including sales and business
development roles with Sony and
Harris, the company from which
GatesAir was born.
Sotto will be based in Florida
and report to Senior Director,
North American Sales,
Mark Goins.

for the visualisation of complex data at
NAB.
The real-time nature of the Ventuz
software suite makes it possible to
create content that reacts dynamically
to data coming from sources.
"With the latest releases of Ventuz X,
we have introduced a completely new
method for the dynamic visualisation
of data in the form of a particle

users to visualise complex data in
the form of dynamic point clouds. By
linking the live data source directly to
the particle system, the audience can
watch shifts and changes as they occur
and get a much more accurate idea of
what meaning is behind the numbers."

integrates with a wide variety of
newsroom systems, among them AP
ENPS or Avid iNEWS, as well as other
data management systems, such as
Molden Media's M2Control.

B&S Lighting has announced
the Area 48 Color, which
provides
colour
accurate
illumination in both white light
and RGB.
With a range of 10,000°K to
2500°K colour temperature, Area
48 Color delivers 13,000 Lumen
output (compared to a 1500W
tungsten soft), and draws just
160W. It operates flicker-free and
silent (fan-free design), and is
totally free of colour shift while
dimming from 100% to zero. It
projects accurate, soft output
with 105-degree dispersion.
The Area 48 Color incorporates
R/G/B plus cool white and warm white
LEDs (2700°K and 5600°K) that are
