FilmGEAR ApS

USA / SWE: Mediatec Denmark
ApS, a subsidiary of NEP Group,
has acquired all assets from
FilmGEAR ApS and will also hire
the employees associated with
FilmGEAR's business Showcare.
Kenneth Paterson, Mediatec CEO,
said: "The addition of Showcare
and the start of Mediatec Denmark
ApS is part of a broader NEP /
Mediatec strategy to continue
geographic expansion."
The assets and employees will
become part of Mediatec Denmark
ApS. Showcare provides turn-key
solutions for audio, lighting and
display.

Parliamentary
Mobile Coverage

GBR: ATG Danmon has secured
a contract to design, assemble
and integrate two mobile HD
video production systems for one
of Europe's longest established
parliamentary television channels.
The contract includes nine
Panasonic AK-UB300 HD/UHD
multi-purpose cameras and five
AWU70B remotely controlled pan/
tilt/zoom cameras.
Each
production
unit
will
incorporate a Panasonic camera
control panel, a Telemetrics
controller for the robotic PTZ
cameras, and a Ross Carbonite live
production switcher.
Recording will be to a Blackmagic
HyperDeck Studio system.

Lawo Delivers
'Bastille Day'

FRA / GER: On July 14 each year,
all of France marks the beginning
of the modern French Nation.
Lawo mixing consoles provided
the highest possible audio quality
for more than 500,000 Concert de
Paris spectators at the foot of the
Eiffel Tower.
The show - featuring the National
Symphony Orchestra and the
Choir of Radio France - is one of
the largest classical music events
in the world, and is followed by a
traditional firework display.

DPP Security Briefing

GBR: The Digital Production
Partnership (DPP) recently hosted
an exclusive security briefing in
collaboration with the National
Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).
The briefing was for members of
the DPP's Committed to Security
Programme,
and
featured
guest speakers from NCSC, the
Department for Digital, Culture,
Media & Sport (DCMS), and Ofcom.
The event also featured an
announcement from ITV and
Channel 4 regarding their
requirements of their suppliers
to adopt the DPP's Committed to
Security mark.

Clear-Com Eclipse digital intercom
system to an Eclipse HX system.

IP-based
communication
capabilities

seamless integration to the college's
FreeSpeak II wireless system and
analogue intercom system.
The system is a key part of the
production workflow that supports the
curriculum at the college.
"Our goal for our TV Studio is to
provide an experience as close
as possible to what our students
will find when working in the
'real world.' Our equipment,
especially with recent upgrades,
does just that and in some cases
is exactly what they will find at
professional facilities," said Steve

ZHIYUN Poised For IBC Debut
