AIMS Reports
Rising Numbers

USA: The Alliance for IP Media
Solutions (AIMS) has seen an uptick
in membership and the number of
members has increased to 96.
AIMS Chairman Michael Cronk
said: "We're proud to welcome
former MNA member companies
to the AIMS fold, and with their
input we're continuing to expand
our influence across a larger
cross section of the media and

Since AIMS merged with the MNA
last year more than 20 companies

uxLab's 6G-SDI Extender
over UTP has been
deployed at Cornell University
stadium to keep the Athletic
Communications department
in play.
Cornell University's ambitious
new football stadium at
Schoellkopf Field was built atop
a teardown of the west-side
stands, which removed all prerun, in-conduit cabling.
While rewiring was planned
and underway, the Athletic
Communications Department
found itself working to accommodate
camera and press box cabling for the
games already scheduled - many of
which are broadcast to the Ivy League
Network.

MuxLab's 6G-SDI Extender
over UTP, which is a total game
changer."
Before MuxLab entered the
picture, Lukach was looking at
an eight cable run of around
75ft each, feeding the press
box's video board, the control
room, and four cameras on the
field.
