Piksel Appoints
Joint MD Team
GBR: Piksel has appointed Kris
Brown and Kristan Bullett as joint
Managing Directors of its media
and entertainment business.
Brown, who returned to Piksel in
2014 after a period at Comcast
Technology Solutions, combines
significant broadcast industry
experience with a strong track
record of enterprise software
delivery.
Bullett, who joined the company in
2000, worked in a range of senior
architectural positions before his
tenure as Head of Solutions. He
played a major, hands-on role in
developing services.
The duo will take charge of
Piksel's media and entertainment
operations around the
world.
They succeed Ralf
Tillmann, who will
continue in his role
as Interim CEO.

Jorba Joins
TVU Networks
ESP: David Jorba has joined
TVU Networks as Executive Vice
President, Managing Director of
Europe.
Jorba will lead TVU's European
operations from its regional base
in Barcelona and provide a local
presence in all major European
markets.
"We are pleased to welcome
David to the TVU team," said Paul
Shen, CEO of TVU Networks. "As
part of our commitment to TVU's
customers in the European market,
we've built a significant presence
to better accommodate our
growing regional customer base."
Jorba previously held senior
positions in his 16 years at Vizrt -
most recently was the President
and Managing Director at
Vizrt Americas.
He
recently
served
as a board advisor to
Barcelona's TMT Factory, as
well as to New York's Polygon
Labs.

IABM 'Super Session'
Supports NAB Show

T

he IABM has gone the extra mile
at NAB Show to support its 500+
member companies.
"This is a pivotal year for the
broadcast and media industry, with
all sides needing to pull together to

session to bring the voice of the

8. This major new keynote
event is on the all access pass
calendar.
The IABM is launching its
new BaM Awards, setting the
industry agenda at its State of
the Industry conference session,
lifting the lid on a new
industry model, and
helping drive the
move to IP in the IP
Showcase Theater.

Highlights IP Video

together at the NDI Central Pavilion at
NAB to exhibit ground breaking NDIenabled solutions for innovative and
flexible IP video production.

has become an industry standard for
sharing video on a standard Ethernet
network, claimed to be the widest
adopted and used IP standard.
