DTC Broadcast's
Breakout Wireless
4K Transmitter

USA: DTC Broadcast will feature
the AEON-TX transmitter for
wireless 4K/UHD at NAB.
DTC's VP, Broadcast Sales, JP
Delport said that the AEON-TX
"opens up new vistas for ultra-high
resolution production".
Until now, the volume of raw data
transmission required for 4K/
UHD production has made wireless
cameras largely impractical for live
sport, event, and news. However,
by taking advantage of the
encoding technology built into the
AEON-TX, cameras can transmit 4K
UHD video at up to 2160p60.

NAB Show.

development lifecycle, specialising in
data management, financial reporting,
and support of sales operations. She
joins TMD from CBS in New York.
Her focus will be on understanding
customers' business needs and how
TMD's Mediaflex-UMS solutions can
be tailored to meet each customers'
business requirements.
Mustafa Muhammed will join the
expanding US Client Services team as
a Project Engineer. He joins TMD from
PBS station ThinkTV in Ohio where
he worked as a Broadcast Engineer.
Throughout his career, He has gained
extensive expertise working on
broadcast IT projects such as system
upgrades as well as infrastructure
design, configuration, integration, and
installations from the ground up.
