Unifies STB Platform
ROU / SWE: Telekom Romania is
using Zenterio OS to power a new
series of set-top boxes (STBs) for
its 'TV Interactiv' IPTV service.
Thanks to Zenterio OS, Telekom
Romania end users can now enjoy a
seamless user experience and rich
feature set, including live TV, VOD,
network PVR, time-shift TV, USB
PVR, and fast channel change.
Zenterio OS is an independent
operating system for interactive
TV,
supporting
software
harmonisation on any STB
platform.

Custom Consoles
'Strong Demand'
GBR: Custom Consoles has
reported sustained high demand
for technical furniture across the
broadcast and wider engineering
control markets.
The past year alone has included
major projects for RTL City in
Luxembourg, RT's new production
studios in Paris, EVS in Liège,
TV3 in Dublin, Netherlands-based
virtual reality studio Miraga3D
and the London studios of satellite
broadcaster Al Sharqiya.

21st anniversary year with the

its NEP Spain office, further
strengthening its reach
and presence as one of the
key players in the Spanish
broadcast market.
NEP Spain will focus
on providing technical
production
support
for
sports
events,
music festivals and live streaming
productions.
NEP has hired two industry veterans
to spearhead business development
and operations in the country: Tomàs
Ferreres, Country Manager, and Joel
Mestre, Head of Production, NEP Spain.

scenario planner for digital TV and
movie distribution at NAB.
The planner, named Sandbox,
will give content owners a clearer
idea of the potential cost and asset
requirements needed to deliver digital
packages across any OTT platforms,
appropriately localised for
multiple territories.
