"We've enhanced our Xcellis workflow storage and StorNext 6 platform with game-changing options and capabilities that we'll feature at CABSAT 2018," said Gabriel Chaher, Vice President, Global Market Development at Quantum. "With Xcellis products, we're bringing enterprise-class storage to a broader range of creative facilities, empowering users to leverage AI to better understand and monetise their content, enabling greater efficiency in handling content across the storage environment, and offering NAS storage performance that's three times that of the nearest competitor. Valuable new options within StorNext 6 deliver vital capabilities for content synchronisation, sharing across multiple sites and fine-grained optimisation of performance across facility workstations." Quantum will showcase its new Xcellis Scale-out NAS platform, which delivers the highest levels of storage performance and scalability in a costeffective Ethernet-based appliance. Powered by Quantum's StorNext shared storage and data management solution, the multiprotocol, multiclient Xcellis Scale-out NAS appliance unites robust media and metadata management with industry-leading scalability and unmatched performance to support content creators' most demanding collaborative workflows and ease their transition to IP-based infrastructure. A single Xcellis Scale-out NAS platform performs at least three times better than that of the market's next best NAS offering. An Xcellis NAS cluster can scale performance and capacity together or independently to reach hundreds of petabytes in capacity and more than a terabyte per second in performance. StorNext 6 software demonstrates Quantum's ongoing leadership in Quantum StorNext FlexSpace workflow storage - with a particular focus on extending collaboration globally and providing new data management options. Quantum will also feature Xcellis Foundation, a new highperformance, entrylevel workflow storage system specifically designed to address the technical and budgetary requirements of small- to mediumsized postproduction facilities and corporate video departments. aiWARE for Xcellis is a new hybrid on-premises and cloud version of the best-in-class artificial intelligence (AI) platform from Veritone. This solution allows users to leverage the power of Veritone's best-of-breed cognitive analytics to extract hidden value from their on-premises video and audio content. During CABSAT 2018, Quantum will feature the integration of Data Frameworks' ClarityNow with Xcellis workflow storage. Together these technologies allow users not only to look at the physical nature of the storage environment to see where files are kept, but also to establish policies so that files are moved in a way that yields the most capacity. Worldwide Smallest DSP-Based Ensemble Multiplexer A VT is presenting the new MAGIC DABMUX Go Multiplexer, a particularly cost-effective solution for smaller radio stations at CABSAT. In combination with the high-quality MAGIC AE1 DAB+ Go audio encoders AVT offers a complete small-scale DAB Headend. Special value was set on the easy configuration of the Ensemble Multiplexer via Web browser, so that even users without DAB expert knowledge are able to set up the system. Besides, AVT also presents their telephone hybrids with 1, 2, 6 and 8 or 16 caller lines. A special highlight is the interworking between MAGIC THipPro and e.g. LAWO or DHD mixing consoles via Ember+ and DHD SetLogic commands. With the IP Audio Codec MAGIC ACip3 and the MAGIC THipPro Telephone Hybrid System AVT provides an integrated all-in-one solution - only one management software is required to control both Telephone Hybrid System and Audio Codec. The Audio Codec is displayed as an additional caller line in the MAGIC THipPro LAN or Screener Software. Incoming calls to the MAGIC ACip3 can be accepted as well as outgoing MAGIC DABMUX Go RF Mono or Stereo connections can be established via the hybrid's control software. With the Dual Codec Upgrade, two Stereo signals can be transmitted with one MAGIC ACip3 system. In this case, two additional caller lines would be available in the Telephone Hybrid's control software. AVT Audio Video Technologies is located in Nürnberg, Germany and develops IP, ISDN and POTS Telephone Hybrids/ Talkshow Systems, Audio Codecs and DAB equipment. The main customers are broadcasting stations and service providers. All products are manufactured in Germany with a focus on quality and reliability. MAGIC DABMUX Go RF RM
