Hammond Names GM
Panavision Hollywood
USA: Panavision has named Dan
Hammond, a long-time creative
solutions technologist in the
industry, as Vice President and
General Manager of Panavision
Hollywood. Hammond will be
responsible for overseeing daily
operations at the facility, and
working with the Hollywood team
to leverage the exceptional camera
systems, optics, service and
support that Panavision customers
have come to expect. A Panavision
veteran, Hammond worked at the
company between 1989 and 2008.
Most recently he was at Production
Resource Group (PRG), expanding
his technical services skills. Active
within industry organisations,
he is an associate member
of the American Society of
Cinematographers (ASC), as well
as a member of the Academy of
Television Arts and Sciences
(ATAS) and Association of
Producers (AICP).

BFE Further Expands
Management Team
GER: BFE has hired Scott Luhrs to
join its management team.
As Head of the Division KSC
Controller Systems, Luhrs will be
responsible for BFE's innovative
broadcast control and monitoring
solutions such as KSC CORE
and KSC SILKNET as well as the
team for project based software
development. Luhrs is an expert
in computer sciences with years
of experience in the international

worked at Avid as Global Solutions

IPBC Chooses Pebble

Hawk-Woods' Mini V-Lok Battery

Red) is a dual-mount plate that allows
two batteries to be simultaneously
attached to a camera or other device.
