Anton/Bauer Cine Battery Series
nton/Bauer's CINE series of Li-ion
batteries are designed specifically
for high-power-consumption, digitalcinema-style cameras like the ARRI
ALEXA Mini, RED WEAPON Dragon, or
Blackmagic URSA Mini.
Each CINE battery is a lightweight
and long-lasting mobile power solution
in a compact design, with Anton/
Bauer's signature durability and longlasting charge.
Available in both 90 and 150 watthour models, the CINE battery delivers
12 amps of continuous power - a
higher current than any other similar
battery. Anton/Bauer's PowerTap
feature enables the battery to
power auxiliary accessories
such as monitors, lights,
wireless receivers, and any
other 14V accessory.
The battery has no problem
power loads, a critical
requirement for shooting
cine-style and driving powerhungry cameras and accessories.
Thermal sensors monitor the battery
for rises in temperature and are able
to protect the cells from damage
should the battery get too hot. The
easy-to-read LCD conveniently reports
run-time in hours and minutes when
attached to a device, and displays
percentage of full when not attached.
The CINE batteries are among the
safest on the market, both electrically
and mechanically. The updated
mechanical separation between each
cell to isolate cells from potential
cascading damage. Anton/Bauer's
Fuse Link technology is an important
safety feature that protects high-end
equipment by providing an added
protection circuit within each cell pack.
This prohibits damage to adjoining
cells from a single cell affected by
severe impact, puncture, or thermal
CINE batteries are available with
either Anton/Bauer's gold mount for
the tightest-possible fit, or a securefit V-mount with high-quality five-pin
connectors that ensure dependable
power delivery to the camera.
Creative is a believer in the CINE
battery. Hired by Tinder and CocaCola to develop a holiday commercial,
Culprit Creative had only a six-hour
window to create the spot. "We had
to be able to work and move fast, so
having good flexibility on set was key,"
said Colt Seman, DP for the project.
Seman paired his RED WEAPON
Dragon with a CINE 90 Gold Mount
battery. "You're always doing a bunch
of guesswork with other batteries and
their run-times. On the other hand,
the CINE's run-time display on the
back of the battery tells you exactly
when you need to switch it out, and
that convenience alone made a big
difference," he said.
"The CINE batteries are just built in
a way that makes the
camera feel better.
It's easy to just take
the battery, throw it
on the camera, and
not worry about it
getting in the way.
It's amazing. Being
small and powerful,
the CINE battery gives
you the best of both
