Mediatech Implements
Net Insight Live OTT
HKG / SWE: Mediatech is
implementing Net Insight's Live
OTT solution Sye for delivery of live
sports in Hong Kong.
Net Insight CEO Fredrik Tumegård
noted: "This is the first deal in the
Southeast Asia-region for Sye."
The order from Mediatech, for
both software and professional
services, includes the set-up of an
ultra-low latency live CDN service
that streams live sports to mobile
subscribers.
The product roll-out is expected to
be completed in Q4, 2017.

FOX Netherlands
On TVT/DMC Platform
NED / GBR: TVT/DMC has been
selected to enable the delivery
of FOX channel content to Dutch
audiences.
The Dutch FOX television channel
becomes the latest addition to
TVT/DMC's fully operational,
virtualised 'private broadcast
Cloud' - a European first.
Officially launched in June 2017,
the all-IP platform offers FOX
unprecedented flexibility, scale
and capacity, and the potential
to extend the type and quality
of services available to Dutch
audiences.

ABS And SIS LIVE
Gateway Service
GBR: SIS LIVE and ABS have
launched a new SIS LIVE Gateway
Service solution for ABS Occasional
Use services.
The service offers broadcasters
and service providers a flexible and
reliable Occasional Use platform at
competitive rates.
This provides Occasional Use
booking services and satellite
line-up support for the Ku-band
European beam capacity of the
ABS-3A satellite.
ABS-3 is located at 3°W, which
connects the Americas, Europe,
Africa, and the Middle East.

GatesAir Upgrades
Sistema Clube

atesAir has partnered with Foccus
Digital in Brazil to upgrade
Sistema Clube's over-the-air broadcast
infrastructure in the greater Sao Paolo
region.
Bruce Swail, CEO, Gates Air, said:
"Working closely with our Brazilian
partner Foccus Digital, these upgrades
ensure that Sistema Clube has the
latest available technologies to at once
improve quality and coverage for local
audiences while lowering total cost of
ownership across their TV and radio
infrastructure."
The project upgrades existing
ISDB-Tb digital TV infrastructure and
expands FM coverage, improving
signal quality and integrity across
nearly 200 square miles.
"The tropical climate of the Sao
Paolo region means makes the
reduction of air conditioning loads

and energy consumption in the RF
plant a high priority," said Robert
Houghtaling, Business Development
Manager for Foccus Digital. "GatesAir's
liquid-cooled architecture cleanly
transfers heat from inside the plant
to the outside, which substantially
lowers cooling and electricity costs for
Sistema Clube."
The FM rollout comprises two
new sites powered by Flexiva FM
transmitters, including the first
installation of a Flexiva FLX liquidcooled transmitter in Brazil; and one
Flexiva FAX air-cooled transmitter.
The TV project replaces existing
transmitters with 13 Maxiva highefficiency UHF transmitters - a mix of
ULXTE liquid-cooled and UAXTE aircooled models.

INSIGHT TV Reaches UHD Deal
With Deutsche Telekom

NSIGHT TV has announced a
distribution deal with Deutsche
Telekom.
Deutsche Telekom will launch
INSIGHT TV's linear UHD channel on its
Entertain TV platform.
Entertain TV offers more than 100
HD channels, with content including
live sports, films, and documentaries.
It reaches a wide and
diverse audience. INSIGHT
TV will provide Deutsche
Telekom
subscribers
with hundreds of hours
of unique high-end UHD
content in German.

"With the growth of UHD in both
available content and consumer
demand, we're thrilled to be working
with INSIGHT TV to be able to bring
their lively UHD content to our viewers.
We see Entertain TV as the perfect
platform for such content, and we're
excited to be launching this new
service to millions of viewers across
Germany,"
