110V SK K is a dual crossbar switch
capable of connecting eight signal
sources to 20 destinations. Inputs are
indicated by red LEDs and destinations
by independent yellow LEDs. A pin
park is provided for each crossbar.
Grass Valley's new GV Korona
K-Frame V-series video production
switchers are designed for low and
mid-range broadcast and media
applications. They are available in
three packages, starting at 16 x 8
with up to three mix / effects layers.
The small footprint is intended for
small stations, sub-studios and mobile
environments. The switchers can
configured for UHD with a license
upgrade.
Nevion's VikinX eMerge IP routers
are a series of Ethernet / IP switchers
designed to aggregate, switch and
forward IP media streams in a
broadcast
environment.
Multiple
switchers can be interconnected via
standard 10GigE / 40GigE / 100GigE
to form a fully non-blocking router
cross point with a switching capacity
that scales to several terabits per
second, comparable to a video routing
core with thousands of HD-SDI inputs
and outputs. VikinX eMerge can be
deployed as a plug and play device and
is available in several variants with a
different mix of GigE, 10GigE, 40GigE
and 100GigE ports. All products
support standard Openflow operation
as well as Ethernet, IP and MPLS
routing features.
PESA's SmartView provides instant
monitoring and control of PESA
routers on Android-based tablets.
They can be used for managing
multiple monitor walls and multiviewers throughout a facility, allowing
an operator to change inputs and
monitor signals by dragging a signal
source from the resource bar at the
top of the workspace to the desired
destination.

Outputs are shown on the Android
screen as monitors. Each frame within
the monitor represents an individual
screen or multi-viewer picture-inpicture image. A preview pane allows
real-time monitoring of any video
source.
Roland's VR-4HD comprises a
digital audio mixer, video switcher,
multi-viewer touch screen and USB
video / audio streaming interface in
one portable package. Designed for
single-person operation, it allows easy
switching and mixing of sound and
video via dedicated hardware controls
faders, buttons and touch screen
interface.
Ross Video's Graphite all-in-one
production system now ships with Ross
Rocket Surgery which can be used
to create lower thirds, tombstones,
and full page stats. The package also
includes individual score bugs for
US football, basketball, soccer, and
hockey. It can be customised to fit a
client team's logo and colour scheme.
Supplements such as User Guides
and Ross DashBoard Apps are also
included.
SAM's Vega router offers hybrid
audio routing for de-embedding,
embedding and track swapping along
with AES and MADI interfaces for audio
mixer interconnections. All video and
audio can be controlled via multiple
platforms including web, soft panels,

and
external

systems.
The Vega 100 series is
available in three models, Vega 200,
400 and 700. All offer total flexibility
with configurable I/O in any mixture
of physical interfaces such as coax,
fibre, HDMI, balanced and unbalanced
AES and MADI. Input embedding and
clean and quiet switching is available
on all outputs if you desire, it's up to
you how you configure your Vega 100
router series.
Sony's MVS-8000X live production
switcher can be configured with up
to 180 inputs, 68 outputs and 40 fullfunction keyers, from SD up to UHD. It
comprises a 10U high processor frame
and up to four control panels can
interface per processor. Every MVS8000X includes eight keyers, each with
its own 2.5D resizer as standard, per
M/E bank. Additional hardware options
include internal frame memories,
format conversion and device control,
plus a DME interface to control the
MVE-8000A effects processor.
Thinklogical's MX48 matrix switch is
scalable in increments of 16 ports, up
to 48 ports, for a unidirectional 48x48
or a bidirectional 24x24 switch. The
switcher incorporates a touch panel,

for simple configuration and control.
Touch panels are available mounted to
the front of the MX48.
TV One's Voyager fibre optic matrix
allows system designers and installers
to configure each port as an input or
output. It is expandable beyond 2,000
ports. With the new Voyager USB
2.0 fibre optic KVM extender, tvONE
introduces a complete video and AV
signal switching system independently
distributing video, audio and USB over
fibre and all on the same matrix.
Utah Scientific's new 400 Series 3
hybrid digital router is designed to
accommodate IP signals along with
high-density SDI.
The 400 Series 3 can handle any
number of IP and SDI signal formats
along with audio and data. The new
SMPTE ST 2110 and SMPTE ST 2022-6/7
IP formats are supported, together
with 3G SDI, analogue, HD, SD, and
audio signals including analogue,
digital AES3, MADI, TDM, and AES67.
The 400 Series 3 can accommodate
288 standard SDI signal inputs and
outputs with in-frame conversion of all
signals to SMPTE ST 2110 or ST 20226/7 IP, and vice versa. The router also
handles all major digital and analogue
audio formats.
