t IBC2017, Globecast is launching
its new integrated platform that
enables its customers to clip, edit and
publish high-quality content instantly
across multiple outlets.
Customers can create video-ondemand files from live streams and
syndicate to multiple online services
and across social media.
Globecast's
powerful
expertise
in covering live events enables
its customers' editorial teams to
package action highlights during and
after an event, then to publish to all
screens. Globecast's intelligent media
management system automatically
allows content owners to increase
viewer/follower engagement, grow
their audience and introduce new
monetisation models.
Globecast XN uses the public Internet
for distribution, disaster recovery
and monitoring services. The GCXN
solution manages the transport of
broadcast and media services over the
public Internet. Allowing very rapid

create and then distribute content

centralised studio control room

instead of on-site production and

LiveU's IBC studio set will consist
of three cameras to capture live
interviews with special guests talking
about the latest technology disrupting
the industry and how this impacts
business. In addition, there will be
two roaming cameras where hosts
will interview different exhibitors and
showcase products.
Each of these five cameras will be
connected to LiveU's LU600 HEVC
units. The live feeds will transmit back
to the BeTerrific production studio in
New Jersey where they will control
the production remotely, switching
between feeds, and producing the
show in real-time.
LiveU will also feature original
programming
streamed
straight
to Facebook Live including a daily
interactive show where Michael
will take questions from the home
audience. One segment will be all
about how the show is being produced
and behind the scenes information.
