Bexel Adds Litepanels
Astra 6X LED Lights

EUROMEDIA Accelerates
UHD Deployment

UROMEDIA has accelerated its
deployment of UHD OB trucks,
with two units A21 and B40 on site at
the recent Monaco Grand Prix.
They were used in the first major
production of the international signal
in UHD on behalf of the Automobile
Club of Monaco.
The B40 truck has been upgraded
to support key live broadcasts in 4K
and can now provide image quality
that is four times better than HD for
the prestigious Monaco Grand Prix.
Out of service for almost a month, the
B40 truck's upgrade was modelled on
the A21 vehicle, which has received
unanimous praise since its release in
January. The OB truck was completely
rebuilt from the ground up using highend design technology. This new fullUHD truck has a GVG Kayenne K-Frame
switcher, a SAM router and glue,

and Penta broadcast monitors.

which 14 kilometres of hybrid fibreoptic cable had been added for the
cabling of all the cameras. The slow
motion replays were recorded by the
LSM servers in 1080/5P and then
upconverted to UHD, as were the four
LiveTools Technology wireless links in
the grandstands.
