ZAF / NED: The South African
Broadcast Corporation (SABC)
has become the first broadcaster
in Africa to integrate Axon's
Cerebrum control and monitoring
software platform with Utah
Scientific's router technology.
The equipment has been installed
in SABC's new HD mobile MCR.
Built by NIC with design support
from Systems Integrator and Axon
distributor Inala Broadcast, the
mobile MCR controls between four
and six OB trucks and receives 20
external feeds in from SABC's news
regions.

Boosts Live Streaming
NED / USA: Mobile Viewpoint is to
showcase capabilities across its
product range that allow instant
live streaming across multiple
social media platforms.
With its LinkMatrix management
platform tool, Mobile Viewpoint
will be demonstrating how simple
it is to stream live broadcasts
from any location straight to
multiple social media platforms

DFL To Use ChyronHego
TRACAB
D

eutsche Fußball Liga (DFL) has
signed a new four-year contract
with ChyronHego to use the company's
award-winning TRACAB image-based
tracking system for Bundesliga and
Bundesliga 2 matches.
Installed in all 35 DFL arenas,
TRACAB will continue to collect realtime ball and player-tracking data
and enable powerful team and player
insight for the 36 DFL football clubs
over the next four years, representing
a total of almost 2,500 matches.
As part of this announcement,
ChyronHego will be working in close
partnership with DFL subsidiary,
Sportec Solutions GmbH, which
provides data gathering, storage,
and distribution for Bundesliga and
Bundesliga 2.
