Zylight's Wireless Lighting

ylight will demonstrate several of
its LED lighting products, including
its new Pro-Panel variable colour LED
soft light, "Flat Fresnel" F8-100 and F8200 models, and Newz on-camera light,
during IBC.
For the first time at IBC, the company
will also demonstrate its new ZyLink
Bridge, which works with the free
ZyLink App to allow precise lighting
adjustments for multiple Zylights
through an iPhone or iPad without a
router or network configurations.
Available in 1 x 2 and 2 x 2
configurations, the Pro-Panel provides
the cool operation, energy savings,
and long life of LED technology,
while eliminating the harsh glare
and multiple shadow effects often
associated with budget LED panel
lights. Fully dimmable with a
110-degree beam angle, the ProPanel easily adjusts from tungsten to
daylight with up to a 95 CRI (Colour
Rendering Index) rating. Every Pro-

Panel light includes a honeycomb
louver, gel frame, and an adjustable
yoke that allows mounting on portable
stands or hanging.
The ZyLink Bridge is a lightweight,
wireless fob that allows the ZyLink App
for iOS devices to communicate with
the integrated ZyLink wireless control
found in most Zylight fixtures. Simply
turn on the lights, select one of the
10 ZyLink wireless channels, and take
control with the ZyLink App.
For the popular IS3c high-output
soft light and other
models equipped with
Zylight's Colour Mode,
which produces millions
of colours without gels
or filters, the ZyLink
App offers colour and
saturation
adjustments,
as well as presets to
save repeated lighting
assignments.
Plus,
it
includes four effects -

crossfade, strobe, police, and flame
- that can be adjusted to match the
needs of a particular scene.
"Lighting professionals are amazed
by the level of control they get with
the ZyLink Bridge, and we're excited
to show its versatility at IBC," said Joe
Arnao, President of Zylight. "Instead
of swapping gels from a ladder in the
studio, DPs and lighting designers can
use the ZyLink App to adjust individual
lights or groups of lights and see the
results live on a reference monitor."

Fully dimmable with variable
colour temperatures from tungsten
to daylight, the Newz delivers a soft
yet punchy white light with true
colour reproduction. Built tough
for unforgiving broadcast news
environments, it is water resistant
(IP54) for reliable operation in
extreme weather.
Brighter than a 400-watt HMI
Fresnel, the F8-200 LED Fresnel can
be powered by AC or dual battery
configuration. The F8-200 collapses
to less than five inches
Zylight's IS3c
thick for easy transport
high-output soft light
and storage. The F8-100
and F8-200 deliver refined,
natural looking light, and
are available in tungsten
or
daylight
versions.
Both lights are also water
resistant (IP54), allow full
DMX operation, and include
built-in ZyLink wireless
technology.

FOR-A's 'Future-Ready,
Cutting-Edge' Solutions

OR-A will showcase a variety of its
cutting-edge technology solutions
and new products under the continued
theme, "FOR-A World of Possibilities"
at IBC2016 tradeshow.
Visitors to the FOR-A stand will see:
* The ever popular live production
solution consisting of the HVS-2000
Video Production Switcher, offering
three traditional M/Es and four MELite
M/Es;
* The MFR-3000, a Multi-Format
Routing Switcher, supporting 3G/HD/
SD-SDI signals;
* The Insight Server with a fourchannel playout system designed for
both studio and OB van environments;
* And GearLink software for
centralised visual control of video
switchers and other peripherals via a
touchscreen.
In addition to the above, FOR-A will
showcase two other 4K solutions. The

first contains the portable HVS-110
Video Switcher, with a MFR-3000 and
a DSK-400 4K (UHD) Keyer. The other
solution consists of the HVS-2000 with
optional 4K 3D DVE and a MFR-5000
3G/HD/SD/ASI/AES/RS-422
Routing
Switcher.
New
products
making
their
introduction to the market and to IBC,
are the HVS-490, the FT-ONE-LS, and
the MFR-4000.
The HVS-490 4K 3G Production
Switcher is the newest member of the
Hanabi Switcher family featuring up to
40 inputs, up to 22 outputs, and up to
32-channels of 2.5D DVE.
Making its IBC debut is the FT-ONELS High Speed Camera, boasting 500
fps of full 4K recording and playback
with optional integrated Flicker
Corrector, making this camera a musthave for sports events.
Also new for IBC are the MFR-4000

12G Routing Switcher and the MV-1200
Multi Viewer. The MV-1200 supports:
3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SD-SDI, Composite,
HDMI, DVI sources and UHD. Similarly,
FOR-A will introduce a series of IP
Gateway products such as the USFIPGW and the USF-IPSDI.
All of these products and much

more will be on display at the FOR-A
stand. Additionally, as the worldwide
distributor of Fujitsu IP Products,
FOR-A will showcase the IP-HE950,
an H.265/HEVC Codec which is a 1U
half-rack sized small chassis with front
panel operation.
