Atlas 5 For
UHD First
USA: NASA and Harmonic will
document the launch of the Orbital
4 ISS supply mission, with cutting
edge 4K and UHD capabilities.
In an industry first, the teams
will shoot the Atlas 5 booster
launch using six 4K+ cameras at
high frame rate (HFR) and in high
dynamic range (HDR).
This will be aired on NASA TV UHD,
with HDR reference UHD video clips
published.
Both HDR-10 and Hybrid Log
Gamma (HLG) HDR schemes will be
available.

DC Mobiles
Launches
CAN: Rec4Box OB Factory
and Department Camera have
announced a new business group
to expand the rental market across
Canada and the U.S.
DC Mobiles was launched at the
CCW & Satcon 2015 show, and
aims to provide outsourced teleproduction services across Canada
and the eastern seaboard of the
United States.
At launch DC Mobiles had three
Rec4Box
trailers
currently
available, with more expected to
come on-line in the near future.

Thunderbolt 2
Dual-Display
GBR: StarTech.com has released a
Thunderbolt 2 Dual Video Docking
Station that features connections
for two DisplayPort monitors.
The docking station enables Mac
and Thunderbolt users to create
a dual-monitor workstation or
a single 4K Ultra HD monitor
workstation, all through a single
Thunderbolt 2 connection to the
dock.
With a variety of ports, including
digital optical audio and eSATA,
users can connect up to 12 devices.

at the L.A. Convention Center.

Updates to the heavy-lifting pro UAV

include the launch of Intuitive Aerial's
2.0 image stabilisation technology
for full size pro cinema cameras
with industry standard lightweight
zoom lenses such as the Angenieux
Optimo 15-40 and Canon 15.5-47
with complete FIZ (focus, iris, zoom)
support with the Intuitive Aerial
DOMINION controller.
The AERIGON Mk II has future
support for dual and redundant flight
controllers, the ability to switch
between 2.4 Ghz and licensed band
wireless transmission, and enhanced
features such as ground power and
industrial grade battery connectors.

AERIGON has been used on feature
films, including Spectre and Avengers:
Age of Ultron, documentary films such
as We Are Blood, and shows for BBC
Natural World and National Geographic

will offer VOGO SPORT
to spectators in the VIP
section, allowing them to
use their smartphones to
watch events from several
different video camera views
live and in real-time from
the comfort of their seats.

all home matches. The app enables
