Anevia announced the release
of Flamingo 3.4. After capturing
live TV and radio content from
satellite, cable and digital terrestrial,
Flamingo streams it over IP
networks to set-top boxes, PCs
and other IP-connected devices.
The latest version supports more
encryption formats, including
VSecure and Pro:Idiom, as well as
DVB-T2 and ISDB-T protocols.
PlayBox Technology introduced
CaptureBox PRO which allows
multiple channels of HD or SD
content to be captured from SDI and
IP sources. All four video sources
can be monitored on a single screen
and controlled via a new streamlined
user interface. Also shown was
the latest version of the AirBox
universal playout and streaming
automation server. Features include
multi-language audio, graphics
and subtitle insertion, last-minute
playlist changes and clip editing.

supporting the transition between
analogue and digital switchover.
A small form-factor pluggable
electro-optical cage has been
integrated into the TAG, principally
for optical infrastructure testing.
Phabrix has worked with Dolby to
provide support for Dolby E, Dolby
D and Dolby D plus.
Tektronix promoted QCloud
which is claimed to be the ﬁrst quality
control solution for production, post
production, broadcast and online
video service market segments that
operates ﬁle-based workﬂows on
cloud platforms.

NAB Show 2015
The NAB conference returns to
the Las Vegas Convention Center
Saturday April 11 to Thursday April
16 2015 with the exhibition running
its usual Monday to Thursday.
As many American
hotels, including some
of the largest, have
thin wooden walls
which come close to
being acoustically
transparent.
