Aveco ASTRA Studio 2
Powers TV NOVA News

V NOVA, the channel broadcast
by CET21 (a member of the
European CME group), and the
first privately held nationwide
Czech TV station, is now on-air
with Aveco's ASTRA Studio 2 to
completely automate their news
studio production for Televizni
noviny.
With the production of Televizni
noviny becoming increasingly
complex, CET21 knew they had
to automate its production and
selected ASTRA Studio 2 for the task.
"Aveco's ASTRA Studio 2 controls
all our key devices in the news studio
in a way that allowed us to design a
very complex and visually attractive
on-air look for our newscast," said
Josef Uher, CTO of TV Nova. "This
new on-air look helps strengthen our
news leadership with our viewers."

number of SNG trucks to manage
and deliver HD, 3D and 4K images.
Transmitting live from the Vatican
throughout the ceremony, Globecast
supplied satellite uplinked video and
audio services via its SNG trucks
to Vatican Television, Sky Italia, Sky
Deutschland, BSkyB and Eutelsat.
The event was produced by
the Vatican Television (CTV), in
collaboration with established
partners including Sky and Eutelsat.

Fox typically takes a 4K file
from the camera, encodes it, and
runs it through the ClearView 4K
analyser to compare the quality of
the encoded/decoded content to
the original 4K video.
