eyevis Acquires Teracue

eracue, a manufacturer of
h a r d wa r e a n d s o f t wa r e
products for IPTV solutions and
video networking, has been
acquired by eyevis.
All rights on trademarks, names
and patents as well as all employees
will move under the wing of
Teracue eyevis GmbH.

combining their strengths and
resources in product development
and distribution, and are setting
trends on streaming solutions for
professional applications.
"The acquisition is a win-win
situation for both companies,"

eyevis GmbH. "With the increasing
demand on high-quality streaming
systems, together with Teracue we
are offering unique solutions in the
areas of control room, presentation
and information, and broadcast
from one source.

existing sales channels. Through
this acquisition eyevis will expand
its expertise in streaming solutions
as well as signal transmission over
standard IP systems.

The first joint products have
already been presented at this
year's Integrated Systems Europe
in Amsterdam along with eyevis'
eyeCON MetaWall 2.0 solution.

Imagen Media Asset
Management system has been
chosen by Endemol and by
VisionVault to manage and provide
easy access to their content.
For Endemol, tens of thousands
of hours of content needed to be
digitised, organised and accessible
in order to keep up with growing
trends in online video consumption.
Not only will Imagen stream the
digitised video, but Endemol will
also use it to clip, annotate, share
and deliver content to clients.
The Imagen platform will promote
digitisation efforts, working toward
a fully available online catalogue
for each subsidiary under the
Endemol umbrella.

cloud for storing, searching,
collaborating, repurposing and
distributing video content, will use
Imagen to provide clients easy
access to, and management of,
their ingested assets.

media assets to bear on social
media, video on demand, and all
manner of mobile, online, portal

Grass Valley
USA: Belden is to acquire privately
held Grass Valley for US$220 million.
Belden President and CEO John
Stroup said that combining Grass
Valley and Miranda, would create
"the broadcast industry's largest
and most complete portfolio".

and editing solutions within

The binding offer is subject to

Arqiva Signs
For Capablue
GBR: Communications infrastructure
and media services company Arqiva
has acquired the Connected TV,
Video-On-Demand and content
solution provider Capablue.
Joining Arqiva's Digital Platforms
division, Capablue will strengthen
Arqiva's growing investment in IP
and connected TV capabilities.
Arqiva and Capablue had a wellestablished relationship having
partnered on solutions such as
the pay capabilities for the Arqiva
Connect TV platform.

Accedo Powers
ESPN Smart TV

Imagen provides a customised
and branded MAM platform

done with them.

BRA: Accedo has developed a sports
and soccer application for ESPN.
The service is available on LG
Smart TVs in Brazil, enabling
consumers to enjoy catch-up TV
sports content on the TV screen.
ESPN in Brazil is one of the main
sports cable television networks
with 8.7 million subscribers.
The network has rights for 2014
FIFA World Cup, UEFA Champions
League, La Liga Premier League,
NFL, NBA and MLB.
