The MPR30 has an OLED display
with four-button control (UP/
DOWN/SEL/EXIT), an automatic
scan feature and the ability to set
parameters via an infra-red link or
from a PC via USB. The IEM version
can operate in wide or narrow band,
stereo or mono, and has a physical
volume control.
Power is from 2 x AA cells
or a rechargeable pack. The
latter can be charged either by
using the dedicated charger or
from a USB port.

stations via the MediorNet ﬁbre
infrastructure.
Operators can route bidirectional
camera signals, including all
embedded audio and telemetry
control data, through MediorNet
which facilitates the free assignment
of cameras to any base station or
CCU within the network.
RTS’ ADAM OMNEO interface
cards adapt the RTS ADAM
intercom system into an internet
audio based network and uses Open
Control Architecture. The product
range consists of the RTS ADAM
OMNEO card for the ADAM and
ADAM-M intercom frames and
a user station interface card for
selected RTS keypanel models. The
OMNEO connection provides full
bandwidth audio within 1 decibel
from 50 hertz to 19 kilohertz with
a claimed latency of less than 20
milliseconds.
The RTS OMI ADAM matrix card
ﬁts into standard slots of the RTS
ADAM or ADAM-M frames and
provides a gateway to internetbased networking. The OMI card is
available with up to 64 bidirectional
ports in increments of 16 ports on

a single card. A fully conﬁgured
single compact ADAM-M frame can
support up to 256 OMNEO ports.
The ADAM frame supports 512
OMNEO ports. RTS OKI keypanel
interface cards ﬁt into RTS user
stations and provide native
OMNEO internet connectivity for
RJ45 Ethernet connections into
the OMNEO network with optional
single or multimode fibre modules.
The cards provide a two-port
switch onboard as a pass-through
connection to allow chaining of
keypanels if required. They plug into
the existing header in the keypanel
and come with all parts needed to
complete the upgrade.
Sonifex’ CM-TB8 is a talkback
control unit providing 8 channels
of 4-wire communication, housed in
a 1U rack mount enclosure. It has
individual connections for a headset
on 5 pin XLR and microphone/

headphones on an XLR/stereo
TRS jack, with the current selection
indicated on the front panel.
Gain for each input type can be
individually set between +6 and
+68 decibels, allowing for a wide
range of microphone types. 48 volt
phantom power is also available.
Minor talk level adjustments can
be made quickly using a front panel
rotary control with a maximum
adjustment range of ±12 decibels.
This adjustment can be disabled if
required to stop inadvertent changes.
A limiter automatically adjusts
the microphone gain if the signal
level exceeds a preset level. The
current talk level is indicated on the
front panel when it exceeds 0 and
+8 decibels. A separate output on
the rear panel provides a balanced
gain-adjusted and level-limited
