line-up

with all known
loudness recommendations
including; EBU R128, BCAP, ATSC
A/85, ARIB, ABC, AGCOM 219 &
ITU BS1770-2. Alongside StarFish,
Vectorscope and Moving Coil
Emulations, new software features
also include ‘Eye Width’ Instant SDI
signal quality read out.
Since the launch of DK1 in 2011,
the DK METER range has been
rapidly adopted by broadcast and
post-production companies because
it meets industry demand for costeffective stereo and 5.1 metering,
including loudness. No bigger than
a smart phone, all of the meters in
the range are easy to install and can
be powered from a computer USB
port, making them ideal for location
recording. They are supplied with
standard DK-Technologies meter
scales plus the industry-standard
StarFish and deliver conventional
metering as well as loudness
metering at the same time, on the
same display and in a single box.

Rohde & Schwarz is currently
promoting two innovations in the
ﬁeld of test and measurement, the
R&S EFL110/210 test receivers
and the R&S SLG signal generator.
The portable R&S EFL110/210
is ideal for detecting unwanted
electromagnetic emissions in cable
TV networks. These cost-effective,
easy-to-operate test receivers
localise interference in LTE networks
caused by leakages in cable TV
networks. The multichannel R&S
SLG can generate up to 32 satellite
transponder signals simultaneously.
The compact instrument simulates
the complete uplink and downlink
band and eliminates the need for
complex multi-device systems. The
R&S SLG is ideal for testing ground
stations, satellite payloads, tuners
and set-top boxes.
For testing digital and analogue
video/audio interfaces, Rohde &
Schwarz offers the R&S VTC video
test centre. The R&S VTC supports
protocol tests on HDMI and MHL
interfaces and can be used to
analyse the video/audio contents
of the signal under test. The R&S
VTC is suitable for testing wireless
devices for conformity with the
compliance test speciﬁcation (CTS)
and for performing functional tests
in development.
At NAB, Rohde & Schwarz will
also showcase the R&S ETL TV
analyser and R&S EFL240/340
portable TV test receivers. The R&S
ETL TV analyser is the reference for
acceptance tests on transmitters and
headends. The R&S EFL240 and R&S
EFL340 are portable test receivers
for cable, satellite and terrestrial
