have signed a strategic partnership
agreement in order to extend to a
wider broadcast industry customer
base in the UAE.
du’s current and new broadcast
customers can look to the telecom
as a single provider offering an endto-end content delivery platform.
With Visual Unity’s broadcast system
integration and multiscreen solution,
du customers will now have further
visibility and control of their end-toend content delivery flow.

showcased the company’s Virtual
Studio Manager (VSM) product and
the focus of the booth presentation
was its ‘Boxing’ functionality.
In addition a number of the user
interface possibilities were on show

features such as Unicode support
and RFID tag functions.
The presentation highlighted
various key VSM features such
as Boxing, Touch, Unicode
and RFID tags:
Boxing – provides the logical
framework to dynamically save and
store multiple device set-ups and
then transfer the complete settings
to another production area or studio
with a single button push;
Touch – the complete video, audio
and intercom workflow can be
controlled and processed via tablets.

(SMC) has deployed multiple
Pebble Beach Systems Dolphin
integrated channel devices for its
Sharqiya from Kalba TV installation.
The first channel to broadcast
from this area of the Emirate,
the brand new installation will
feature a Pebble Beach Systems
Neptune automation system
controlling four Dolphin devices.
Two of the devices will provide
main and backup systems for
playout, whilst the remaining two
act as disaster recovery for the main
Sharjah facility.

as Technical Sales Manager.

Prior to joining Snell, Makwana
was sports products specialist at
