8 FxPlug (BCC 8 FxPlug) is now
available for Apple Final Cut Pro
X and Motion 5 in addition to Final
Cut Pro 7.
Boris Continuum Complete gives
editors and motion graphics artists
the power to create high-quality
broadcast graphics and perform
project-saving image restorations
within Final Cut Pro. 200+ filters
include extruded text, 3D particle
effects, image restoration and
touch-up tools, true 3D lens flares
and volumetric lighting effects, keys
and mattes, colour grading tools,
time-based effects, blurs, glows,
stylish auto-animating transitions,
and cinematic effects such as film
grain and film process looks.

FxPlug Feature Highlights for Apple
Final Cut Pro X include Templates
Final Cut Pro X Templates allow
editors to quickly achieve powerful
VFX with great-looking, easy-to-use
Glows, Lights, Particles, and TiltShift effects. In addition to taking
advantage of the Final Cut Pro X
templates included with BCC 8
FxPlug, editors are able to create
their own FCP X templates with
BCC FxPlug in Motion 5, and access
and reuse these templates in FCP
X without going back to Motion 5.
Final Cut Pro X Transitions via
the BCC FxPlug features all-new
designer transition effects for FCP
X ranging from lens flares and lens
blurs to organic wipes and dissolves.

JoeCo Adds Features To BlackBox Family
oeCo’s latest software update
for the award-winning BlackBox
brings several new features and
enhancements to the multi-channel
live audio recorder/player series.
With version 2.2.7x, both the
BlackBox Recorder and the
BlackBox Player now support the
replay of polyphonic wav files, from
multiple stereo files up to 24 or even
64 channel PolyWAV files. Mono,
stereo and multichannel files can
even be used together in the same
song massively enhancing the
JoeCo’s iXML plug-in also enables
PolyWAV files to be recorded - a
feature aimed at TV and film location
recordists to better serve the needs
of post-production facilities, or
systems where audio material is
ingested in single large files.
The ability to import polyphonic

the Flashpoint All-Inclusive
DSLR/DV Cinema Bundle.
The bundle ships with Flashpoint’s
DSLR Shoulder Rig II with Rails
and Quick Release System, a

The customisable system from
Flashpoint allows a DSLR or
camcorder to be positioned for
specific shooting requirements.
