That includes corporate audio-visual, corporate computing, educational, stage entertainment and pro-audio markets. ISE 2012 attracted 825 exhibitors and a claimed total registered attendance of 40,869 people. Adder Corporation will display its AdderLink Inﬁnity Dual IP-based switching matrix. This allows a computer and its operator to be separated by almost any distance over a gigabit network. Designed to handle DVI, USB, RS232 and audio, it provides point-to-point, sharing and multicast capability. Applications include connecting audio-visual devices, regardless of location. AJA Video Systems will demonstrate the Corvid Ultra interface which is designed for use in multi-format 4K/2K and HD/Duallink/SD systems. It supports 48p and 60p frame rates as well as 4K and stereoscopic workﬂows. Corvid Ultra works with a host computer via a PCIe 2.0 interface card. Allen & Heath will show the XB10 broadcast mixer. Designed for small radio or internet broadcast studios, this has a telephone communication channel, stereo channel start/cue outputs for CD deck transport control and auto

muting of speaker outputs. The company will also promote a new AES out option module for the ﬁxed format MixRacks in its iLive digital mixing series. Apantac will exhibit its recently announced Tahoma MiniQ and Crescent MicroQ multiviewers. Both are designed for restrictedspace applications such as outside broadcast vehicles or in-studio multi-image display monitoring. Each accepts and auto-detects composite, SD, HD, and 3G-SDI signals. DVI, HDMI and SDI outputs are provided.

AJA’s Corvid Ultra is designed for high bandwidth applications such as 4K workﬂows

in October. Equipped with four rectangular diaphragms, the AT5040 is claimed to deliver exceptionally smooth high frequency sound. Blackmagic Design will display the latest version of its HyperDeck solid-state recorder. Version 3.6 supports Apple ProRes 422 HQ (HyperDeck Shuttle 2), plus closed captions for all HyperDeck models. The HyperDeck Shuttle 2 with ProRes compression extends the recording capacity six-fold. Christie will exhibit its new G Series and four new E Series 1-chip projectors. The DHD550-G and Christie DWU550-G provide 5,000 lumens using a Texas Instruments reﬂective light modulator and a single mercury-lamp. Similar to the G Series, the four new E Series projectors offer higher brightness, increased flexibility and greater reliability. Resolutions are HD (1920 x 1080) and WUXGA (1920 x 1200). Clear-Com will show its Eclipse HX Digital Matrix studio intercom systems comprising the Eclipse HX-Omega, Eclipse HX-Median and Eclipse HX-PiCo. Latching key panels, frame cards, interface modules, seamless wireless integration and intelligent IP intercom connectivity are available. Datavideo offers a wide range of video production systems in laptop formats designed for easy use on location. A recent addition to its product range is the HS2000 Mobile HD Studio which incorporates a ﬁve-channel vision mixer, ﬁve-way intercom and 17inch multi-image monitor. The HS2000 has four HD-SDI inputs plus a DVI input. Operational features include fader bar, picture-in-picture and a four-channel audio mixer. Ensemble Designs will demonstrate its new Avenue graphics card. Designed for use in broadcast, live venues and presentation, it has two independent linear keyers, programme/preset background transitions, and audio mixing and breakaway. The full range of SDI signals from SD to HD and 3G formats are supported. Haivision will exhibit, as part of its end-to-end IP video solutions, its new encoding platform, the Makito

X Series, doubling the density and quality of its HD H.264 high performance encoders. In addition, Haivision will showcase CoolSign, which uniquely combines digital signage with live IP video; the Viper for recording and streaming multichannel HD video; and their Torpedo DVB to IP gateway, which is fully integrated to operate with Amino set-top boxes, offering an extremely low cost approach for IPTV. IHSE will introduce the new ‘Draco tera compact’ range of 16/32/48 HD-KVM switchers to the European market. Housed in a one rack unit chassis, these support DVI-D, VGA, audio, USB and serial data. They are designed for small and medium post-production workgroups where operators need to share a large number of display screens or processors. intoPIX, which specialises in FPGA-based JPEG 2000 c o m p re s s i o n a n d s e c u r i t y technology, will demonstrate its new range of high quality UltraHDTV 4K and 8K codec supporting high frame rates. The company will also introduce its new codec implementation and reference design based on the Altera Cyclone V for cost-effective 1080p60 JPEG 2000 visually lossless compression. The Reference design is particularly suitable for KVM and video over IP applications, featuring, JPEG 2000 compression, HDMI I/O and video over IP (1G Ethernet) streaming. MediorNet will show its new MN-GV-2 card which allows Grass Valley 3G cameras and base station, including the LDK and the LDX series, to be networked via
