This ultra-lightweight professional audio bag (PS614) is optimally designed to transport sound equipment comfortably and securely, and keep it safe, organised, and accessible while working. The new model has a roomy main compartment fully padded to safeguard delicate equipment. The bag’s standard removable internal divider is sized to ﬁt and help secure a Zaxcom Nomad mixer / recorder while offering easy access to the unit’s XLR connectors. Rycote continue innovation in new microphone suspension solutions
Rycote, a family-owned company renowned for its innovative, problem-solving designs for over 40 years, has expanded its portfolio of microphone windshields. Forming an essential part of broadcast and recording technology at the critical point of audio capture, Rycote’s noise-reducing windshields and microphone suspension systems are designed, developed and manufactured at Rycote’s UK headquarters. T h e c o m p a n y ’s M o d u l a r Suspension System was honoured with a Technical Achievement Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 2000, and the patented Rycote Lyre, the vibration-resistant microphone clip now found at the heart of all of Rycote’s microphone suspensions, was shortlisted for another Technical Achievement Award in 2011. Hard-wearing and effective, at operational temperatures between -35 to 40 degrees Celsius, the Lyres are made from Hytrel, a virtually indestructible thermoplastic which has a 'memory' and simply bends itself back into shape when distorted or twisted. Lyre mounts absorb unwanted vibrations far more efficiently than traditional elasticated microphone supports and mounts, and never sag or need to be rethreaded. Since the invention of the Lyre in 2008, Rycote has continued innovating with the introduction of new microphone suspension solutions for use in a variety of markets.
