ISSUE 9 - JUNE 2012 | WWW.INBROADCAST.COM InTEST OmniTek Enhances OTM/OTR Software The latest V2.4 of the OTM and OTR waveform analysis software from T&M equipment manufacturer OmniTek adds support for camera alignment and loudness logging For camera alignment, the new software provides a set of displays that analyse the differences either between live input and a saved image of the same scene, or between two live inputs. One display comprises a set of meters that indicate differences in vertical alignment, camera rotation (roll), zoom level and sharpness between the two images. Another display analyses the RGB content of the images and produces a set of ‘Chroma Sabres’, the angle and offset of which directly reflect differences in colour gain and lift between the two images. The displays can be used to match the set-up of one camera to another as there is OTM 1000 immediate feedback on the effects of any change. The OmniTek systems already offer a number of loudness displays. The enhancement offered in V2.4 is to log the values every second to a file on disk for analysis outside of the OTM/OTR system. Formed in 2001, OmniTek is an innovative test and measurement company, specialising in the development of video analysis equipment for SD, HD, 3G and digital cinema applications. ■ 69 OmniTek QuadSplithttp://WWW.INBROADCAST.COM http://www.linkedin.com/home?trk=hb_tab_home_top http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpzEatLsHdE&feature=youtube_gdata_player http://www.facebook.com/pages/InBroadcast-e-zine/226166444076212 http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/inbroadcast/id468652679?mt=8 http://www.twitter.com/inbroadcast http://WWW.INBROADCAST.COM http://www.omnitek.tv/products/video-test-measurement/otm-1000.html http://www.omnitek.tv/ http://www.cobaltdigital.com http://www.cobaltdigital.com
