streaming service for the Chinese-speaking

of documentary films into a digital format

in less than a week, they would forfeit an
opportunity to host the world's first online film
festival exclusively featuring documentaries.

UK Companies to Make
BroadcastAsia Debut
A strong group of British-based companies will once again
be exhibiting at BroadcastAsia 2018, says Mark Birchall,
Managing Director, Tradefair...

T

he companies will be exhibiting as part
of a GREAT Britain and Northern Ireland
pavilion. The group is organised by Trade Fair
Support Ltd on behalf of techUK in partnership
with the Department for International Trade
(DIT), the government body responsible for
promoting exports and inward investment.
The pavilion will host over 20 UK
companies, of which 10 are supported by the
Tradeshow Access Programme (TAP), a DITsupported programme assisting UK SME's
to attend the event. The UK exhibitors at this
year's exhibition are showing a wide range of
products, services and technologies including
4K/UHD, cloud solutions, OTT, digital media
asset management, audio, VR, cameras,
lenses, tripods, batteries and IP broadcasting.
A number of UK companies are returning to
BroadcastAsia once again alongside a healthy

number of first time exhibitors participating
on the GREAT Britain and Northern Ireland
pavilion. This year will see Hawk-Woods, The
Streaming Company, Zoo Digital, Omnitek and
Open Broadcast debut at BroadcastAsia.
Hawk-Woods will be showcasing their
batteries, chargers, adapters and power
cables for camera operators and sound and
light engineers.
The Streaming Company is live IP
broadcast experts and specialise in low
latency live streaming for sports, channels,
news, auctions, medical and one-off events.
ZOO Digital helps Hollywood studios, global
broadcasters, online retailers and independent
