Software? Why?
Win-Asia Software: BroadcastAsia is
the most eagerly awaited show for us; it is
always an exciting time to be able to meet
with many broadcasters from all around the
region. June is a good time as we're reaching
the mid-year and projects have been evolving
in our future customers' minds. We are here
to give them the solution they were looking
for the whole time. Smart and easy radio
and TV automation software, or sales CRM,
MAM, and monitoring solutions.
InB: What do you think are the key
developments in, or threats to, your market
sector at the current time?
W-AS: That's an interesting question.
We believe that both radio and televisions
might be threatened by new technologies
and offers appearing on the modern market
(VOD, music streaming, etc.), but also that
they actually have the tools to fight back. For
example, by creating their website,
streaming their content, switching
to visual radio, publishing on social
media and so on.
Broadcasters have unique identities
and their listeners and viewers can
stay loyal to them if they provide
appropriate means for it. We are
here to help them to do so and stay
connected to the present needs of

their target audience. On the other hand,
broadcasters sometimes tell us that their
financial means are low, to which we
always answer that a better organisation
of their sales chain, for example, could free
up resources that can be invested in other
departments.
InB: How is the company positioning itself
for the future of broadcasting?
W-AS: Win-Asia Software is growing;
not only in Asia, but also in the world. The
Philippines, Bangladesh, Taiwan, Myanmar,
etc. are all already important markets on
which we are leaders. We are able to position
ourselves as a leader of the automation
software market simply because we never
stop developing and enhancing tools for
broadcasters every day, releasing new
versions, following hardware evolution.
Not only is our latest Winmedia software
V18 the best radio and TV automation
software to date, but we are also releasing
other extremely powerful and modern

solutions to adapt to present-day needs.
For example, WinSales 3.1 is a web-based
CRM to manage all the sales activities of our
customers (campaigns, contracts, billing

rundown, history and much more.
And finally, WinLogger is for broadcast
authorities and networks to monitor,
record, store and analyse any type of
content and sources. We adapt to the
present and develop for the future.
InB: Why should broadcasters visit
your stand at BroadcastAsia 2018?
W-AS: To discover our product
range, see how they work and
explore all the functionalities that

they've dreamt about. They can witness our
software solutions hands-on and even play
with them; that often allows them to realise
that getting one of our solutions would make
their business more profitable by saving
time on daily work. For example, automatic
scheduling, automated ad spot insertion,
preparing voice tracks, automatic segue,
automated podcast, export of history, and
automated broadcast/ads reports.
Meeting is important to us and we focus
a lot on dialogue - after all we are radio/TV
people too. Later, when we are in different
countries, customers can rely on us and
on our experienced international team and
distributor network all around Asia to serve
them perfectly.
