Trendspotting
While the gaming industry is on a growth
trajectory globally, the growth is particularly
widespread in Southeast Asia. According to
market research firm Niko Partners, PC and
online gaming revenue projected to surpass
US$2.2 million last year and is expected to
cross US$4 billion by 2021 (Source: Niko
Partners).
For the first time, attendees will learn what

transpires behind-the-scenes at esport
events, at the inaugural Esports Arena Studio
at BroadcastAsia 2018. Featuring a three-day
live streamed Hearthstone tournament, the
Esports Arena Studio will allow attendees to
interact with acclaimed esports personalities,
players, commentators as well as the team
behind the production.

Conference Takeaways
Beyond the show floor, BroadcastAsia
will also highlight the latest industry
developments made possible by emerging
technologies, including leveraging artificial
intelligence for OTT, customer insights,
