Strengthens its Presence

At BroadcastAsia, German-based system integrator Broadcast Solutions will showcase its full portfolio
of solutions and focus on new and innovative products recently added to the company's distribution channel...

s a first-see, the company will show at its
stand (4G3-05) products by IP-solutions
provider Mobile Viewpoint.
Starting this year, Broadcast Solutions is
the distributor of Mobile Viewpoint's products
and solutions in Asia and will use the event
to showcase the company's encoding and
streaming devices for today's changing
linear TV viewing behaviour. With the Mobile
Viewpoint tools, broadcasters are well
prepared to distribute their content to all
viewing channels thinkable without bothering
with encoding or streaming issues. On
display will be the 5Glink - the first 5G-ready
bonding device for live video. Further
products include the Agile AirLink encoder/
transmitter and the Terralink 4c, a bonded
rack transmitter that encodes four synced
streams at the same time for full remote
productions.
A second prominent topic at Broadcast

Solutions' stand will be new and cuttingedge tools covering the "Wireless (R)
evolution" with presentations on the
evolution from traditional analogue pointto-point microwave systems to the latest
revolutionary IP-based mesh networks.
Visitors will learn how this technology
revolutionises the industry while there is
still room for traditional technologies. With
our MANet - Mobile Ad-Hoc Network -
solutions, Broadcast Solutions demonstrates
how to combine video, audio and IP traffic
in one simple, flexible transmission system.
MANet is a terrestrial microwave-based
solution that is using robust, intuitive radios
to create mesh networks. Primarily used
by defence and law enforcement, this
outstanding technology now rapidly makes
its way into the broadcast market. Simplicity,
full IP-connectivity, and awe-inspiring
bandwidth capabilities are the main keys to
