POLAND 72 hours IN Krakow It may be a popular place for stag dos and birthday parties, but the cultural capital of Poland boasts a fascinating history, just waiting to be explored... Day 1 MORNING Krakow isn't exactly lacking an impressive medieval building or two, and visiting the Rynek Glowny Main Square (the Old Town) is the best place to get your bearings. The Town Hall dates back to the 13th century and the Tower block itself is the only ruin of the original structure remaining. It costs around £2 for entry but watch out for the stairs when climbing to the top, they're awfully narrow! Still, the city views are epic once at the top; and it definitely warrants a photo. 74
