almost here! Yes, the UK’s largest foodservice
and hospitality exhibition returns to Birmingham’s
NEC in January (21st-23rd) for another instalment
of unmissable professional advice, networking and
product and service showcases.
Over three days, more than 350 exhibitors –
including over 100 present for the first time at the
event – will meet thousands of visitors from across
the UK and beyond in a highly business-focussed
environment. This year sees the retention of
previous shows’ most successful offerings and the
introduction of plenty of new initiatives designed
to assist hospitality professionals in every area of
business.
A team of dedicated, high-profile Business
Mentors will be sharing their experiences and
offering invaluable hints and tips on the brandnew Business Briefing Stage (and show-goers
will have the chance to secure 30-minute one-toone briefing sessions with one of the mentors);
meanwhile the new Design Inspiration Stage will
host some prominent figures from the world
of design, who will be discussing trends and
developments from right across the sector.
One of the highlights of the event will be the
return of renowned culinary competition Salon
Culinaire, offering live classes and incorporating
The innovation zone at The Hospitality Show
fine-dining restaurant La Parade de Chefs in which
winning teams from each of the last three years
will cook for diners over the three days of the
exhibition. Mouth-watering treats and titbits are no
doubt in store…
Toby Wand, MD of event organiser Fresh
Montgomery, explains why he thinks this event will
prove invaluable for the hospitality trade this year:
“The Hospitality Show focuses on the business
of hospitality. Each element of the show will give
visitors at least one good idea to take back to their
business, whether it’s finding a new product to
solve a problem, meeting a valuable new contact,
or learning some valuable insight direct from a
Business Mentor. With a new look, new halls,
and a renewed focus The Hospitality Show will
be the place to do business, source new product
innovations and network with likeminded business
professionals in 201 ”
