R EWAR D IN G TALENT Emma Gunary (pictured above) is a vehicle technician working on Maserati and Ferrari models within the Jardine Motors Group. With her sights set on a career in law, it wasn't until she passed her driving test that her love for all things motoring began. Keen to understand the mechanics behind cars, she decided to enrol on an automotive apprenticeship. Emma, 30, says: 'My change in career path was met with a lot of questions from my friends and family. People either completely understood or were totally confused by it all - understandable as at the time it was very much perceived to be a career path solely for men. 'But once I'd started, I knew straight away I wanted to turn this passion into a full-time career.' Over 18 months she gained skills in a variety of motoring areas before joining Lancaster Ferrari, part of the Jardine Motors Group, and today works with some of the world's most famous supercars. She says: 'For anyone thinking of switching career into a great industry I'd encourage them to just go for it.' JARDINEMOTORS.CO.UKhttp://www.jardinemotors.co.uk/ http://JARDINEMOTORS.CO.UK
