Anna
Mastrogiovanni
Qualifications and
test engineer

There are real
prospects for women
in engineering. My
journey wasn't easy but with hard work
and support, I've reached my goal.
I came to Megger for work experience
in marketing in 2004. I then started
work as a manufacturing assistant. I
became interested in electronics and
did an HNC in electronic engineering.
I became a technician and progressed
to a BEng in engineering with the
Open University. After five years, I was
promoted to qualification engineer.
Engineering offers so much: a chance
to do an exciting job, to travel and
to learn new things every day. You
could be working on projects in an
office, on the factory floor operating
equipment or getting your hands dirty
doing experiments. It's never dull.
