Meet some of the amazing team at Aspers Stratford City;
London's largest and friendliest casino...
Originally starting out as a Croupier in 2006 at the very first Aspers Casino in Newcastle,
Bea moved to the Cash Desk and was swiftly promoted to Head Cashier. In 2011 Bea
took the bold move to relocate to London to assist with the opening of Aspers exciting
new venture in Westfield Stratford City.
Bea worked around the clock, setting up the Cash Desk from scratch; recruiting and
training a team which included 60% trainees.
Bea was promoted to Assistant General Manager in 2013 and was part of the Aspers
manager development programme. 2015 saw Bea promoted to General Manager
and is now responsible for a team of over 550.
Joe has been part of the Aspers team since the vibrant venue at Westfield Stratford City
first opened in 2011, becoming the UK's very first large licence casino. Joe started as a
Gaming Supervisor and in November 2013, secured the position of Customer Service
Manager - Gaming; he has since been an integral member of the middle
management team in live table gaming.
As part of the Aspers Succession Planning Programme, Joe has completed an ILM
qualification, Level 3 Apprenticeship in Advanced Management. In 2016 Joe was
promoted again to Head of Live Table Gaming. He has consistently demonstrated a
genuine commitment to the business and works tirelessly to develop all levels of
In 2017, Joe deservedly won the top award in the industry leading Aspers Reward and
Recognition Programme, an accolade which won him £2000 towards a holiday
of his choice.
Cinnamon joined Aspers in November 2015 as Customer Service Manager -Hospitality,
initially responsible for all the bars within the department. In 2017 Cinnamon seized the
opportunity to take on a much broader food and beverage management role. This
provided the opportunity to take responsibility for Clary's restaurant, deliver learning
and development support to the Aspers Valet school, as well as overseeing bookings
and events in the casinos stunning Sky Bar.
Aspers is currently supporting Cinnamon in a level 3 Apprenticeship and an level 3 ILM
with 20% off the job training and a day release at Newham College.
