Are you tired of accepting things the
way they are? Could you encourage
transformation in others? Well,
changemakers don't just sit around
philosophising; they see a problem and
find a way to put it right.
But first something has to keep you
awake at night before you're willing to
go out and fight to fix it.
Thursday, March 8 was International Women's Day and the
day carried particular weight this year. But something needn't already be part of
the agenda for it to be spoken about. Exceptional individuals take to You Tube,
blogs and podcasts every day to share their visions with the world. Check out
this online course for budding social entrepreneurs from Oxford University
- conted.ox.ac.uk/courses/social-entrepreneurship-online.
Just remember this: change, no matter how big, starts with you. And although
timeliness may play its part when pushing for change in policy, the one thing
that transcends gender, time and space is love (something our exceptionally
talented and down to earth cover star knows all about).
