Balance asked
Londoners:
how do you feel
about exercising?
I'd class myself as quite an
active person, I train
three times a week and
run once a week. I don't
have a fitness goal really,
it's part of my lifestyle
and I've been doing it
since I was young. The
biggest challenge I'd say
for Londoners when it
comes to fitness is self
discipline. You need to
focus and be disciplined,
and it can be difficult.
SAMANTHA
HAYWARD, 23,
Receptionist
I'm the least active
person, I never go to the
gym. Fitness isn't really
at the forefront of my
mind - I'm usually so
tired after work. The
biggest challenge is
finding time to get out.
There's loads of places to
get out there and do it
but it's just finding the
time. My mind definitely
rules my body.

I've not been to the gym
in 15 years, but I do like
running and when I get
into it I can go a few times
a week. I think laziness
stops me from doing
more exercise. It's hard to
get motivated, especially
when it's cold. I don't
really have a goal. For me
running is about staying
active but it's also good
to let off steam and clear
your head.
