It's difficult to believe that Balance is
already one-year old. At the risk of
sounding like I've won an Academy
Award, I'd personally like to thank
everyone who has supported us on
the journey so far: our team of quite
frankly awesome and talented contributors; our valued brand partners;
and, above all, our readers, without whom we simply wouldn't be here.
The level of engagement since we launched has been heartening and
I suspect this is down to the fact that, whatever your background or
circumstance, wellbeing and mental health are fundamental to us all.
Happiness, it seems to me, is a reflection of the extent to which you
look after yourself and, ultimately, others. Following a year of hard
work, I've recently been reminded of the importance of having fun
and celebrating milestones. I was inspired to hear what steps our
readers have taken in the pursuit of living well and overcoming
adversity. And so I'd like to raise a glass to everyone who has
embarked on their own voyage of self-discovery. On behalf of the
Balance team, cheers!
